Whoever provides their personal data to Gimi S.p.A. (the Company), authorizing its processing for a set purpose, shall have the right, at any moment in time, to exercise the rights provided for by article 7 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code of Practice (Italian Leg. Decree 196/2003), by contacting Gimi S.p.A., Via Trentino 23, cap. 35043 Monselice (PD).

Said data shall be used by Gimi S.p.A. for the sole purposes for which the persons whose data is being processed has given their consent. Personal data shall be handled exclusively by the persons expressly authorized to do so by the data owner.

Personal data in the possession of Gimi S.p.A. may be communicated to specialist companies and to Organisations that provide the data owner with data processing services or activities instrumental to those of the data owner.
Users have the right to request the following information from Gimi S.p.A.:
1. confirmation of the existence of personal data relating to them;
2. clear communication of the data and their origin;
3. the reason and the purpose of the existence of the data and their usage.
Requests for the aforementioned information may be renewed after a minimum of 90 days, with the exception of those cases where a just cause is involved: cancellation or amendments of said data owing to legal violations; cancellation of any data that may not be used for the purposes for which it was collected in the first place.

Data processing is carried out using procedures and technical and IT instruments adequate for the protection of the confidentiality and security of data. Data processing consists of the collection, registration, organization, conservation, consultation, processing, amendment, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, block, communication, circulation, cancellation, destruction of said data, including the combination of two or more of the aforementioned activities.
The communication of personal data relating to a minor must be completed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
Gimi S.p.A. adopts appropriate safety measures in order to reduce to a minimum the risk of the destruction or loss of data, unauthorized access or processing that is forbidden or non compliant with the collection purposes indicated by our Privacy Policy.

Nevertheless, Gimi S.p.A. cannot guarantee users that the measures adopted for the security of the site and of the transmission of site data and information are capable of limiting or excluding any unauthorized access or any data leaks by devices belonging to the user. For this reason, we suggest that users of the site ensure that their own computer is fitted with adequate software to protect online data transmission (for example, updated antivirus software) and that their internet provider has appropriate data transmission security measures in place.
